• Dr. Krishna S Iyer is the Executive Director in the department of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla Road.
• Having operated on more than 14,000 patients with congenital heart diseases from all over India and International patients from 15+ countries, he is one of India's most experienced pediatric cardiac surgeons in India.
• He has pioneered many surgeries in India and established neonatal cardiac surgery at AIIMS.
• Dr. Iyer began the first dedicated pediatric cardiac care program in Northern India at Escorts Heart Institute Research Center (EHIRC) in 1995 which is now called Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute (FEHI). The program has become a standard program for cardiac care for children in India and other Southeast Asian nations.
