Dr. Hitesh Garg is the head of the Artemis Hospital's Ortho-Spine Surgery Unit in Gurgaon, India. He has more than 15 years of experience in spine surgery and has worked at numerous prestigious institutions throughout the world, including Yale University in the United States and the Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia (USA). He earned his bachelor's degree from AIIMS (India's top medical school) and his master's degree from the famed KEM Hospital in Mumbai. Despite being offered a professor position in the United States, he decided to return to India with the goal of establishing an advanced spine centre of international acclaim. He has a strong academic interest, has published both domestically and internationally, and has contributed chapters to internationally famous spine surgery volumes.


He has performed over 5000 spine surgeries, including over 2500 spinal fusions (TLIF, ACDF, and others), 1000 deformity correction procedures (Scoliosis and kyphosis), 300 lumbar and cervical artificial disc replacements, 500 fracture treatments, and 500 other complex surgeries such as spinal tumours, congenital defects, and spino-pelvic fixations.

During surgery, he employs cutting-edge technology such as Neuromonitoring, O-arm, Navigation, modular operation theatres, and a microscope, allowing him to achieve a near-98 percent success rate.
