Parirenyatwa General Hospital, Harare
- The largest medical center in the entire Zimbabwe, the hospital was previously known as the Andrew Fleming Hospital.
- The hospital was renamed after the country’s independence in 1980, in honor of Tichafa Samuel Parirenyatwa, who is well-known for being the country’s first person of black origin who qualified as a doctor of medicine.
- Along with its general medical and surgical sections, the hospital also has a maternity section.
- It specializes in eye treatment as well and has an annex for psychiatric patients.
- It also has several special pediatric wards
- The hospital has over 5000 beds, and 12 operating theaters in the main complex.
- A quality management program was also introduced by the hospital in the year 2005.

United Bulawayo Hospital

Mater Dei Hospital, Bulawayo

Owned and operated by a board of trustees including the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood, the Mater Dei Hospital is a Catholic Hospital providing health services as well as specialist services.

Located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, the hospital was founded in the 1950s by the Franciscan nuns.

Karanda Mission Hospital, Harare
- Karanda Mission Hospital was established in 1961, to aid the mission stations in the Zambezi River, as there was a lack of proper healthcare in the clinics in the area.
- Located in a remote area of northern Zimbabwe, it is situated around 200 kilometers away from the capital.
- Along with the hospital, the complex also has a nurse training school, with around 55 students. It also has a primary school meant for children from grade 1 to grade 7.

- It works with the Evangelical church, which is similar in doctrine to the Evangelical Free Church in the US.
- With a license for over 150 beds, an average day at the hospital sees between 10-20 surgeries along with around 250 outdoor patients.

- It has also been the main Teaching Hospital for the University of Zimbabwe’s Faculty of Medicine, since 1966.
- The hospital was opened in 1958, by Lord Dalhousie, who at the time was the Governor-General of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland.

West End Hospital, Harare
- One of the leading private hospitals of Zimbabwe in medical care as well as hospitalization facilities, this 120-bedded hospital has taken care of people from all walks of life.
- The hospital specializes in several departments such as general surgery, pediatrics, pathology and radiology.
